Founded in 2009, Respiro Underwater Research Society is a non-profit, volunteer foundation dedicated to researching, documenting and protecting the underwater environment and all its components. The purpose of the NGO is to arouse the interest of the Romanian public on our past by initiating projects aimed at exploring the important archaeological sites in the Black Sea and not only before they are destroyed or lost forever.
